Greetings!
Although pianos need regular tuning to perform their best, a piano technician is much more than just a tuner. A technician helps the piano become a seamless extension of its players' hands, efficiently transmitting every nuance from finger to string. Of course not every player has or wants a concert piano in their living room. Often a piano is a treasured heirloom, or a comfortable member of the family.
I am Beth Harris, owner of Clear Note Piano. I offer piano tuning, repairs, regulation, evaluation, and installation of humidity control systems in and around the Boston area. In particular, I can help you develop piano maintenance plans which take both you and your instrument's needs into consideration.
I hope you find this site useful and informative. If you'd like to set up an appointment or have any questions, either email or give me a call at 518-817-9046.
Thanks for taking the time to check out my site and services and I hope to hear from you. In the meantime, happy music making!
I'm headed to Interlochen, Michigan for the summer, where I will be on staff at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. The camp attracts young musicians from all over the country. An inventory of over 200 pianos will keep me and my colleagues busy for the summer, tuning and keeping up with repairs. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to share my own ideas and learn some new ones as well. I'm also looking forward to bringing any new things I learn home where I can help make your pianos sound and play even better! Even though I will be out of the area I will be in available by phone and email to schedule tunings for August and beyond, and to answer any piano related questions you have. -Beth
